The duty of confidentiality set out here binds all staff, internal or external, who have access to the data you provide, whether through this website, our forms or while providing our services.

2. What data we process and where it comes from
We only ask for the data strictly necessary to handle your request. We collect it through:
- The contact form on this website: name, email and phone (required); subject, relationship to the child, the childâs year of birth and any message you wish to write (optional).
- The âWork with usâ form: name, email, phone and CV (required); position of interest and a short introduction (optional), plus any data you include in your CV.
- Emails you send to info@eimontessori.com.
- Phone: if you prefer, the interview can take place by phone; in that case we only need your name and number.
You are responsible for ensuring the data you provide is accurate and kept up to date. Any consequences of providing false or inaccurate data are the responsibility of the person who provides it.
3. What we use it for
We use the form data to answer your enquiry, arrange a visit to the school, set an appointment, and manage joining the current school year or reserving a place for next year or for Summer School.
We use the data and CV sent through âWork with usâ to assess your application in the schoolâs current or future recruitment processes, and to contact you if it matches one.
We will not use it for purposes other than those stated when it was collected. If we ever wished to do so, we would inform you and ask for your consent again.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing contact form data is your express consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by ticking the box accepting this policy before sending it. Sending a request does not create any contractual relationship.
The legal basis for processing CVs is also your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR) and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR). Sending a CV does not imply any commitment to hire.
5. How long we keep it
Contact form data will be kept for as long as any liability arising from the provision of services may be claimed (5 years, Article 1964 of the Spanish Civil Code).
CVs will be kept until you ask us to delete them or withdraw your consent. We will review them periodically and delete those no longer of interest, at the latest 2 years after receipt. If you want to keep taking part in our recruitment processes after that, you can send it again.
In both cases you can ask us to delete it earlier at any time, as explained in the rights section.
6. Who else has access to the data and artificial intelligence
We do not sell or exchange your data with third parties, and we only disclose it to the data processors listed below. It will only be disclosed to the Tax Authorities and other public bodies where required by law.
Information sent through the contact and âWork with usâ forms, including CVs, is not stored on the website or the server: when you send it, it goes straight by email to the schoolâs mailbox, and only the people handling the request or the recruitment process can access it. To do this we use a web hosting and email provider acting as data processor, under a contract compliant with Article 28 GDPR and with servers located in the European Union.
Use of artificial intelligence. To digitise the CVs and requests we receive and extract their information in an organised way, we use an artificial intelligence service from Anthropic, PBC (United States), acting as data processor. Artificial intelligence is only a support tool for organising information: it does not make automated decisions or create profiles. Assessing an application, answering a request or any other decision is always made by a person at the school. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use data sent through this service to train its models.
This involves an international data transfer to the United States, covered by the safeguards provided for in Article 46 GDPR: the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, included in Anthropicâs data processing agreement. You can request more information about these safeguards by writing to dpd@eimontessori.com.
7. Required data
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are needed to handle your request. If you do not provide them, we will not be able to contact you or send you the information you ask for.
8. Minors
This website and requests for our services are aimed only at people over 18: mothers, fathers, guardians or other relatives. The only information we ask about the child, optionally, is their year of birth, to know which group they would join. We comply with data protection rules on minors and with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, integrity and confidentiality.
9. How we protect information
We apply physical, technical and organisational measures to prevent the destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised use of or access to personal data, in accordance with Article 32 GDPR and appropriate to the risk given the state of the art, costs and nature of the processing. In particular, we have mechanisms to:
- Ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems.
- Quickly restore availability of and access to data in the event of a physical or technical incident.
- Regularly test and assess the effectiveness of the measures in place.
- Pseudonymise and encrypt personal data where appropriate.
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Even so, no network is 100% secure, so we also recommend taking care when sending information over the Internet.
In the event of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify the supervisory authority and, where appropriate, the people affected, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
10. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions, and you may withdraw your consent. To do so, write to dpd@eimontessori.com or to Calle Hondón de los Frailes, 2 · 03005 Alicante (Spain), stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing proof of identity. We can provide a form for this if you need one.
- Access: find out whether we process your data and which data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed, you withdraw consent, you object to processing, it was processed unlawfully or must be deleted by law.
- Objection: ask us to stop processing it, unless there are legitimate grounds, which we will explain to you.
- Restriction: ask us to keep it blocked while its accuracy is checked, if processing is unlawful and you prefer not to erase it, or if you need it for legal claims.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another controller.
If you believe we have not processed your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, C/ Jorge Juan, 6 · 28001 Madrid · +34 901 100 099 / +34 91 266 35 17 · www.aepd.es).
11. Cookies

12. Social media
Escuela Infantil Montessori may be present on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) or YouTube. We are responsible for the data we publish on our profiles and for data you send us by private message so that we can answer an enquiry. We do not extract data from social networks without your express consent. Our profiles are public: any personal information you post on them is your responsibility. We recommend reading each networkâs privacy policy.
13. Sending your CV (âWork with usâ)
You can send us your CV through the âWork with usâ form on this website. When you do:
- We will use it only to assess your application in the schoolâs current or future recruitment processes and to contact you.
- It is sent by email to the schoolâs mailbox; it is not stored on the website or the server.
- We will keep it until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent, reviewing it periodically and for no more than 2 years from receipt.
- We may digitise it and extract its information using an artificial intelligence service from Anthropic, as explained in section 6. The AI decides nothing: your application is always assessed by a person.
- We will not share it with third parties, except the data processors listed in section 6.
- You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it at any time by writing to dpd@eimontessori.com.
Please include only the data needed to assess your professional profile and do not include special category data (for example, about health, beliefs or religion). If you do, we will disregard it. CVs reaching us by other means, such as email, will be handled in the same way.
Accepted formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX or ODT, up to 5 MB.
14. Changes to this policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative or case-law changes, or to the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency and the European Data Protection Board. We recommend reviewing it whenever you visit the website; the date of the latest update is shown below.
